A file folder contains photographs of DePauw alumni and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority sisters. Emily Gould Crockett's scrapbook is contained in ribbon-bound gray paper. The collection includes: Photographs of Emily Gould Crockett, friends, sorority sisters, and local travel and outdoor scenes; handmade Kappa Alpha Theta banquet programs and datebook; social, university, and Athletic Carnival programs; napkins, favors, and invitations; handbill for the Phi Psiotic Minstrels; announcement of her election to Phi Beta Kappa; other memorabilia. The collection is heavy on photographs and sorority memorabilia.

Biographical Sketch

Class of 1907, Emily Gould was born July 11, 1885 in Saline County, Missouri. As a student at DePauw, she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She married Charles Crockett of Indianapolis May 11, 1910 and the couple had four daughters, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth and Marcia. Emily Gould Crockett taught school in Nortonville, Kansas; Angola, Indiana; and Harlem, Idaho. In 1920 the family resided in Spokane, Washington.
