Biographical / Historical
Class of x1920. Ella Bernice (alternative spelling Berniece) Smoker Ulery (1897-1993) was the daughter of Daniel and Rebecca Smoker.She attended DePauw University in 1916-1917. She returned to her hometown of Middlebury, Indiana when her sister, Mary Ethel Smoker Elliott (1894-1917) x1918 died in childbirth and did not return to DePauw.
