Historical Sketch
Albright Church (formerly called Emmanuel or County Line Church) is on the Hamilton and Tipton County line, about two miles west of Atlanta. It was organized in 1866. The church building was erected in 1867. It was first a part of Noblesville Circuit, with Cicero, where the first parsonage was located. In 1926 a parsonage was purchased in Atlanta for $1,100. Later this was sold for $2,750 and another parsonage purchased for $3,750. The church building was remodeled in 1908 at a cost of $700, and again in 1954 at a cost of $13,500. The latter included a full basement with kitchen and restrooms and an extension which served as a lobby and nursery room. In 1957 new pulpit furniture was purchased. The church was made a station in 1962. The membership in 1968 was reported as 87.
