Historical Sketch
The Communication and Theatre Department at DePauw University offers the excitement of theater, the power of mass media, and the challenge of debate. Practical experience in radio and television broadcasting, speech pathology, and original research are offered as part of this department’s expanding program. DePauw's Performing Arts Center provides the finest facilities for classroom, laboratory, and extracurricular programs in speech and theater. In addition, one of the largest media internship programs in the country is available to qualified students.
