Collection is restricted as follows: Records of the Student Life Office are transferred to the Archives periodically. Student records are confidential and are to be restricted to use by the student and the Student Affairs Office until the death of the student or 70 years, whichever comes first. The subject files are open.

Copyright interests for this collection are held by DePauw University or the United Methodist Church.
Historical Sketch
The Student Life Office provides support and advice to students at DePauw University. In its earlier days, the office was named the Dean of Women or Dean of Men. Later it was called Student Affairs and Student Services.
