Biographical Note
A. James Armstrong began his ministry in New Port Richey, Florida in 1947. He transferred to the Indiana Conference of the Methodist Church in 1958, served as Bishop of the Dakotas Area of the United Methodist Church from 1968-1980, and Bishop of the Indiana Area from 1980-1983.
