Biographical Note
Rebecca Parrish was born in 1870 near Bowers, Indiana and died in 1952 in Indianapolis. A medical missionary and a physician, she founded Mary Johnson Hospital in Manilla, the Philippines and lectured extensively after her return to the United States in 1933.
