Photographs of Albert John Schmidt '49 grouwing up in German Town, Louisville, Kentucky (1925-1943), his years at DePauw University (1943-1944, 1946-1949), his WWII experiences in the Philippines and New Guinea (1945-1946), and his life as a professor (1953-1990) - including his sojourn in the Soviet Union in 1962. Also included are clippings about his career, his diplomas, professional letters, and some of his publications.
