East College gate, Dr. Russell J. Hubert at his desk in the President's home, changing of classes on campus, students in class rooms, Milton Trusler with a student at the piano, Student Senate, John C. Wright of Testing Bureau and a student, Dr. at the Health Service, Placement Bureau where businessmen and students meet, following faculty shown in class rooms - Wagoner, Greenleaf, Crandall, Pence, O.H. Smith, P.G. Evans, who will all retire in a few years according to film, Pacala, Ling, Ed. Williams, Ricketts of the younger men. Buildings and Equipment - Asbury Hall, Harrison, Minshall Laboratory, East College, Art Center (new in 1958) and in art center is Winsey and a student, the new Library with scenes in the library and the Language Laboratory. Traditions - Owl, Boulder, Senior Cords, Little 500, Tricycle Race, Old Gold Day which includes Decorations at Fraternities and Sororities, Registration for Homecoming, Flowers & Balloons, Game and crowd, DPU Tiger rubbing the head of a little boy, Crowning of the Old Gold Day Queen, Band and Toast; Oldest Tradition is that of the Church Relation - shows choir and a student in Gobin Church. Sorority Vesper services and a bulletin board with announcements of meetings of the various church faiths on campus; Old Bethel (before being moved to present (1966) location); Archives and some of the records there; Students in the Union; Distinguished visitors - Says recent guests were Vice President and Mrs. Richard M. Nixon, shows them coming up the walk of the newly completed library, conferring of the degree of DDL on Nixon; Business & Industry Dinner, Pulliam introduces Nixon, Nixon speaks, Mrs. Nixon giving an autograph to Professor Bergman. On June 8, 1958 McMillan receives his DDL degree at Commencement. Dr. Humbert introduces McMillan, McMillan speaks on Interdependence between Great Britain and the United States. Glimpses of Dr. Winona Welch, Robert Crouch, Truman G. Yuncker and other members of the faculty in various scenes. Points out the need to replace Florence Hall, Music Hall, Speech Hall (shows these buildings); Trustees at Dinner in the Union Building; East College Gate, Roy O. West Library, picture of Roy O. West, plaque in the building, various students in the building; Commencement, East College Tower and the Clock and closes with the singing of the DPU Toast
