16mm, 12 inch reel, sound, color, 2 copies, 25 minutes - This film was used during the time of John J. Wittich as Director of Admissions. This film was taken in the fall of the year and shows: Professor Emeritus Pence, Minshall Laboratory, Jarvis Fulmer, The Hub, Political Science Dept., Humberts entertaining students in their backyard, Dr. Yuncker in class room, Crandall giving his famed Civil War Lecture, Dr. Jome lectures on the Monon Railroad, Mildred Dimmick, Home Economics Class, Dr. Eccles in class, Dr. Van Denman Thompson at organ in Gobin Memorial Methodist Church, Professor Herman Berg, Dr. Henry Kolling, The DePauw University Choir under Professor Gove, Dean Robert H. Farber advising a student, Professor Wagoner, DePauw Bell rings and shows the tower, a student teacher at Miller School with regular teacher - Miss Lily Mae Hepler, Air Force ROTC, Director of Admissions talking to a student, DePauw newspaper staff, Eugene Pulliam and Willard Umbreit at the Boulder, Percy Julian, Philip Maxwell, Bernard Kilgore, H. C. Sheperd, Ford Frick, Dean Riggs with the other deans, WGRE studio and students, Speech department and Dr. Herold Ross working with "Peter Pan" outdoor art class, traditions such as the Boulder and the Owl, DePauw Dads, Mothers Day and the Queen, Capping Ceremony for Mortar Board, Sorority tea, football game and cheerleaders; marching band, Old Gold Day queen and balloons going up and the bell ringing, baseball game, track, tennis, golf, archery, Rector Hall, O'Hair House, staff of the student handbook, the three halls built by Edward Rector, Alpha Phi House, Theta house - 1st Greek letter sorority in the U.S., Chapel at Gobin, Professor Hixson and some of the speakers for chapels, Grace Mitchell at the desk of the library, Dr. Humbert in the Administration building speaks to the viewer, commencement, toast is sung and East College
