Biographical Sketch
Lela E. Nordyke was born June 28, 1890 in Nevada, Indiana. She received her degree from DePauw University in 1917 and became a teacher of history and mathematics. She was appointed a missionary to Korea by the Women's Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
