Biographical Sketch
Dr. Thomas W. Nadal, retired minister, lecturer and college president, died June 28, 1958, while vacationing in Ireland. Recipient of the Ph.D. degree from Harvard, Dr. Nadal was professor, dean, and later, acting president at Olivet College, and from 1917 to 1940, president of Drury College. When the Florida West Coast-DePauw Alumni Club was organized in 1954, Dr. Nadal was named as the first president. He held honorary Doctor of Laws degrees from DePauw (1924) and Olivet, and the Doctor of Literature from Drury.
