Jewel Winifred Wright papers
Collection Statement
The collection consists mainly of photographs of the O'Hair/Wright families and Jewel W. Wright in school photographs, both as a student and later as a teacher.
Also included in the collection are correspondence, clippings, a 1932 DePauw commencement program, Wright Poultry Farm Catalogues, and other papers belonging to Jewel W. Wright and her family.

Biographical Sketch
Jewel Winifred Wright was born January 29, 1911, in Putnam County, Indiana, to Ira W. and Ida (O'Hair) Wright.
Her public school education was in the Monroe Township schools of Brick Chapel and Bainbridge. After graduating from DePauw University in 1932, she taught school in Bainbridge and later moved to California and worked as a librarian.
