Collection Statement
This large collection consists of information from Student Programs, Admissions, American Association of Colleges, Campus Planning, and Commencements along with many others. All of which are arranged in alphabetical order. Also included are papers about Winter Term in 1968 through 1976 with an evaluation. Clippings, a Notebook, A Tribute to Grover Hartman and Old Gold Goblet are also included in his retired document case towards the back of the collection.

Biographical Sketch
Robert Holton Farber was born January 12, 1914 in Genesco, Illinois; he died June 19, 2013 a resident of Greencastle, Indiana. Dr. Farber retired as vice-president and dean of the University in 1979, having been on the administrative staff since 1935. During his 42 years at DePauw, Farber worked under five presidents. In 1962, following President Russel Humbert's death; Farber served as chief executive officer and was acting president in 1976-77 prior to President Richard Rosser's appointment. A Rector Scholar while at DePauw, Farber received the M.A. degree from the University of Chicago and the Ed.D. from Indiana University. Robert Farber, twice DePauw's chief administrator, received the Old Gold Goblet, the University's "most distinguished honor" during Old Gold activities. The Old Gold Goblet is given once a year to a DePauw graduate who is selected by a vote of the directors of the Alumni Association.
