Historical Sketch
The Public Relations Office of DePauw writes and distributes news about the university for all facets of the news media. This includes local radio and television stations, in addition to distributions that sometimes reach national publications. Public Relations also contacts publications in the home towns of DePauw students so they can recognize students' achievements and activities. Announcing public affairs at DePauw, such as concerts, recitals, art exhibits, lectures, sports events and convocations is another responsibility of the Public Relations Office.
