Historical Sketch
Rev. Marmaduke Mendenhall endowed a lectureship at DePauw University to bring to the university as lecturers "... persons of high and wide repute, of broad and varied scholarship, who firmly adhere to the evangelical system of Chrisitian faith." The lecture has been offered almost continuously since 1913.
