Collection Statement

The Rae Lahti Donnelly collection consists primarily of scrapbooks, but also includes class papers and a collage (assembled by and with art work from Sara Peters, DPU 1959). The Freshman Year Scrapbook covers the year 1955/1956; Sophomore Year 1956/1957; Junior Year 1957/1958; Senior Year 1958/1959. Also included is a collection of letters written by Rachael Lahti Donnelly to her family while she was a student, 1955-59.

Biographical Sketch

While at DePauw, Rae Lahti was a cheerleader, May Day queen, member of the Mortar Board, President of Alpha Omicron Pi, President of the Association of Women Students, a member of the Women's Recreation Association, Orchesis, Panhellenic and the Y.M.C.A.
