Biographical Sketch
Floyd Call was born in 1908 in Indiana. He graduated from DePauw University in 1930. He went on to Northwestern University in Illinois for his Masters Degree. While in high school, he worked for his father's bank, Roachdale Bank and Trust Company, Roachdale, Indiana. He continued to work there while attending DePauw, and also worked at Central National Bank in Greencastle, Indiana. In early 1941, he went on active duty with the US Army, serving in Europe, commanding an infantry battalion. He was discharged in 1945 with the rank of colonel. After the war, he filled the slot of Florida Bankers Association executive vice president. He retired from FBA in 1973.
