Marjorie Jane Andren Koerner album
Collection Statement
The Marjorie Jane Andren Koerner album is brown and string bound, and typical of that time period. It was designed as a class project for her 1960 Children’s Literature class and intended for future first grade classroom use. The collection includes: Syllabus for English 290, Children’s Literature, second semester, 1959-1960; rationale for scrapbook; cutouts of nursery rhyme characters, nursery rhymes, and practical application of the project as described by Dorothy Young. The collection is in fair condition, as some of the cutouts have come loose from their backings and most of the backings have come loose from the pages of the scrapbook.
