Historical Sketch
The Fairfield Methodist church merged with Old Franklin Evangelical United Brethren Church on May 5, 1968. No other history is available. Greenwood EUB has always been part of the Franklin Circuit. In the early days the circuit was comprised of four churches, but in later days it became just the Greenwood and Old Franklin churches. These churches have continued working together through the years, sharing ministers and parsonages.
