Class of 1886. From the 1920 Alumnal Record: "Francis T. Singleton. Sanatorium Owner, 340 E. Washington St., Martinsville, Ind. A.B. Born, March 12, 1863, at Martinsville, Ind. Member of school board, Martinsville, Ind., 1896-99; president of Indiana Republican Editorial Association, 1900; owner and publisher, "Republican and Daily Reporter," Martinsville, 1892-1912; president, Citizens' National Bank, Martinsville, Ind., 1912; purchased Colonial Sanatorium at Martinsville, 1915; treasurer and manager of same, 1915-. Married, April 23, 1893. Father of 3182 [Rose Singleton]."
