Biographical / Historical
Siegfried Rauch was an exchange student and member of the class of 1936. After leaving DePauw he entered the University of Colorado. By 1940 he was back in Germany serving as an interpreter. While in occupied France he was part of a failed revolt against the Nazis and fled toward Switzerland with his secretary. Both were apprehended and later shot by firing squad.
