Biographical Note
Dunlavy grew up in Putnam Co., eight miles east of Greencastle. His ministry began as a local preacher, at which time he was also a teacher in the public schools at 21 years of age. In 1878, he was admitted to the St. Louis Conference on trial and appointed to the LaRue circuit. In Sept.,1881, he was transferred to the NW Indiana Conference and was stationed on the Crawfordsville circuit. He died at his home in Lafayette on January 23, 1922.
