Historical Sketch
Dyer Methodist Church began holding services on June 13, 1948, in the Dyer Town Hall. Rapid growth and high interest led to the building of a church home which was consecrated September 23, 1951. On October 23, 1960, a second consecration service was held for the new $130,000 addition to the church building.
