Historical sketch
The DePauw Alumni Weekend was designated as a time for alumni of the university to come back to campus to socialize, reminiscence, enjoy recreational events, and learn new concepts and ideas. The events were scheduled for a weekend of Friday-Sunday activities. In 1981 the first Alumni College was offered, and this time of lectures and learning was a separate campus event that more recently has been planned to coincide with the Alumni Weekend time.
