The collection consists of the constitution, manuals, institute programs, letters, members and committees, clippings, pamphlets, periodicals, programs, reports, song sheets, photographs, officers, alumni association, Dawn Bible class no. 8, scrapbook, and other miscellaneous items relating to the Epworth League Institute events. The volume is the record of the Indianapolis District Lodge or House, the dormitory by that name at Rivervale Campground.

Historical Sketch

"The object of this organization shall be to unite in Christian work and fellowship through the Epworth League all of the Methodist young people of the District, and to promote the efficiency and widen the scope of local chapter work under the administration of the governing body of the Epworth League and the provisions of the Discipline of the Methodist Church." (taken from the constitution of the Indianapolis District Epworth League, Article II)
