Biographical / Historical
Elizabeth (Betty) Anne Burns was born February 22, 1915. She attended DePauw University from 1932 to 1936. She graduated with a BA in Psychology and was the president of NAIAD club and in the Home Economics club. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. In 1941-42 she returned to Greencastle with the war effort, working in the Putnam County Welfare Department. Elizabeth (Betty) Anne Burns Spencer died on December 16, 2003 at the age of 88.
