Historical sketch

The DePauw Biological Association, Botany Club, Biology Club, and DePauw-Wabash Sigma XI Club were some of the science-related organizations on the DePauw campus. The John H. Harrison Hall on campus, built in the 1939-1940 time period, was built as a science hall with a donation from John H. Harrison and in memoriam of Harrison. Harrison Hall was to be occupied by the departments of Psychology, Zoology, Geology, and Botany.
