Biographical Sketch
William C. Cavanaugh was born Dec. 18, 1932. He earned his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1954, his M.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1959, and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 1966. He spent four years teaching at Chicago’s Loyola University before joining the English Department at DePauw University in the fall of 1965. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Cavanaugh has had poetry published in numerous journals including, “The Virginia Review”, “Song”, “Poets On”, “New Poets 1983”, and “The Hopewell Review”.
