Biographical Sketch

Edwin Wesley Dunlavy, son of Howard Houston and Hannah Elizabeth Oliver Dunlavy, was born near Greencastle, Indiana on June 25, 1874. He was a graduate of DePauw University in 1900 and received the degree of Doctor of Divinity from the same institution in 1920. He also attended the Boston University School of Theology for two years. Edwin followed the footsteps of his father and was licensed in the Methodist Episcopal Ministry in 1897. After his retirement in 1937, he resided in New Carlisle, Indiana. Edwin passed away in 1953.
