Biographical Sketch

Anna M. Hayward was a native of Terre Haute, Indiana. She graduated from Wiley High School and from DePauw University in 1896. She taught for a total of 41 years at Ironwood, Michigan, Evansville, Indiana, Vandalia, Illinois, and Wiley High School in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was a member of the Terre Haute Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Phi and the Terre Haute Association of Retired Teachers. She died February 9, 1959.
