Biographical Sketch
Rev. John Robert Bolin was born December 21, 1887 near Poland, Indiana. He was married August 16, 1911 to Fanny Fay Borders. He began preaching in 1905 and entered the Indiana Conference in 1907. He graduated from DePauw University in 1916 with Phi Beta Kappa honors. His retirement years were spent studying everyday. He studied until his death July 9, 1965 at his home in Linton, Indiana. Burial was in the Switz City Cemetery, Switz City, Indiana. His wife passed away four months later.
