Biographical Note

Keizo Kawamura was born during 1856 in Japan. He graduated from DePauw in 1881. Kawamura was a member of the Delta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi. After DePauw, he attended an intensive theological course at Drew Theological Seminary in Madison, New Jersey. Due to illness, he returned to Japan upon receiving medical advice. He left for Japan on April 8th and returned to Yokohama on the 27th of the same month. Shortly after his arrival, he died on May 3, 1882.
