Biographical Note
Bishop Leroy C. Hodapp was born in Seymour, Indiana on November 11, 1923. He graduated from Seymour High School in 1940, Evansville College in 1944 and Drew Theological Seminary in 1947. He married Polly Ann Martin on June 12, 1947 and they had two daughters, Anne Lynn Hodapp Gates and Nancy Ellen Hodapp Wichman. Bishop Hodapp's pastoral records include: Orleans (1947-50), Heath Memorial, Indianapolis (1950-54), Meridian Street, Indianapolis (1954-61), Bloomington First (1961-65), Bloomington District Superintendent (1965-67), Indianapolis West Superintendent (1967-68), Indianapolis Northeast Superintendent (1968-70), South Indiana Conference Council Director (1970-76), Bishop of Illinois Area (1976-84) and Bishop of Indiana Area (1984-92).
