Historical Note
In 1814, Rev. John Shrader was assigned the first minister. In 1840, a second church known as Centenary Bethel Church was built. The cemetary was first used in 1841, ans in 1880, the cemetary was expanded by ten acres. The "Centenary" name for the church was drooped around 1880. The church decided to build what is the present church building, and in 1910, the church's stained glass windows were installed, each costing 10 dollars. The next year, the church was dedicated. The church celebrated its 160th anniversary in 1980, and the church celebrated its Sunday School's 200th anniversary in 1980. The church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church in 2023.
