Historical Sketch
Delta Chi fraternity was established within the DePauw Law School as an organization providing both professional and social fellowship. The chapter was officially chartered May 6, 1892, and all members were studying law or cognate subjects. In 1894 the DePauw law school had ceased to exist, because the school could no longer support it. Delta Chi left the DePauw campus. Delta Chi later re-established on the DePauw campus in 1928.
