Biographical Sketch
Frank Orville Fraley, son of Catharine Stanton and Henry Clay Fraley, was born at the Methodist parsonage in Monon, Indiana, on October 8, 1867. His boyhood was spent at the family farm near Linden, Indiana. As a young man he taught school for several years in Montgomery County, later attending DePauw University for several terms. On August 30, 1894, he was married to Ettie E. Campbell at her home near Darlington, Indiana. From 1894 to 1897 he continued his education at DePauw University, receiving his A.B. degree with the class of 1897. He passed away at the small garden beside his home in Greencastle, Indiana, on June 25, 1952.
