Biographical Sketch
The Rev. Charles Nelson McBrayer served in the Methodist ministry nearly 50 years, beginning in 1917, in many churches in northwest Indiana. He last served the Waveland-New Market church as a member of the Northwest Indiana Conference of the Methodist Church. Among other churches in which he served were ones at Wheatfield, DeMotte, Tefft, Valparaiso, Clarks Hill, Kirkpatrick, Raccoon, Monon, Reynolds, Remington, Boswell and Waveland. He died at the age of 86 at Asbury Towers, Greencastle where he resided about three years.
