Biographical Sketch

Liliane Howard was born on November 8, 1872 in Waterloo, New York. She graduated from DePauw in 1894 with a Ph.B. and received an M.A. from DePauw in 1895. She then moved with her family back to New York where she taught in the public schools for a few years. After moving to Philadelphia to accept a job with a printing company, she became involved in the woman's suffrage movement and continued her involvement throughout the rest of her life.
