Historical Sketch

Kappa Tau Kappa's first record of their constitution dates back to 1946. The purpose of the intra-fraternity society was to "establish and maintain a close relationship between the members of the society, and to promote a spirit of friendship and harmony between the several social fraternities represented" at DePauw University. Active membership consisted of one representative from each social fraternity. This society found their obligations to include enforcement of rush rules and forming an alliance between the individual fraternities at DePauw University.
