Biographical Note

Izumy Nasu was born during 1862 in Tokyo, Japan. He was affiliated with Delta Kappa Epsilon while at DePauw. Nasu graduated as part of the class of 1883. He translated Homer's Iliad into Japanese and became a professor at the Royal College of Tokyo. He passed away in 1885.
