Historical Sketch
The Center for Management and Entrepreneurship was established beginning with the 1980-81 academic year. According to its first annual report, its goal was to develop mutually beneficial ties between DePauw University and the business community through the enhancement of a strong liberal arts education with internships and other opportunities for direct contact with business executives and entrepreneurs. The Center operates the Management Fellows Program which seeks to combine the theoretical lessons of the classroom with the wisdom of practical experience in order to prepare leaders to serve in both the private and public sectors of the economy.
