Historical Note
Saint James West United Methodist Church was founded in 1911. The first pastor was Rev. St. Clair. The church was previously known as Saint James Episcopal Church. The present church was erected in 1951. St. James West had other church buildings in 1912, 1920, and 1950. The church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church, closing on July 1, 2023.
