Historical Note
Glenns Valley United Methodist Church was founded in 1897 in Glenns Valley, Marion County, Indiana. The church had existed as Fishers Chapel prior to its renaming that year. The newly named Glenns Valley Church moved into its new building on June 20, 1897, and was led by first minister Reverend F.S. Potts. In 1915, took the role of head of the charge over Center Methodist Church, and merged with Center in 1951. A new church building was dedicated on October 9, 1960. Glenns Valley disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church in 2022. As of June 2024, Glenns Valley continues to operate as Even If Church in Glenns Valley, Marion County, Indiana.
