Historical Note
Hanfield United Methodist Church was founded in 1886 in Hanfield, Grant County, Indiana. Reverend Davis Boswell was the first minister assigned to the church. The church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church in 2022, and, as of June 2024, continues to operate under the name Hanfield Global Methodist Church.
