Historical Note
Independence Riverview United Methodist Church was founded in 1840 by Rev. James Griffith in Independence, Warren County, Indiana. Although the church was physically located in Independence, Warren County, it had a mailing address of 7763 E. 4th Street, Attica (Fountain County), Indiana. The church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church, closing on December 1, 2022.
