Historical Sketch
The Mount Olivet Methodist Church, located in Democrat Township, Carroll County, Indiana, was built in 1869. The ground was purchased from Jacob and Mahala Ball for a sum of $50.00. The Trustees of the Church at that time were Samuel Dawson, Harvey J. Ball and Thomas Wilson. The deed was recorded January 6, 1877.
