Biographical Sketch
Class of 1930. After Sally Ann Robards '30 finished her library degree at the University of Illinois in 1931, she secured a job in the cataloging department at the Muncie Public Library and rose to become head librarian by 1938. She became roomates with her very close college friend, June Maxine Mull '27. They lived in the "Rector Apartments" in downtown Muncie until Sally and Donald B. Roberts, Purdue, class of 1928 were married in 1940. Sally Ann Robards Roberts '30 is the mother of Sarah Roberts (Kranbuehl) Houghland '65 and Katherine Roberts Keenan '72.
