Historical Note

First United Methodist Church, formerly known as Broadway Methodist Church, began in 1830 under Rev. M. Nudenburg in Logansport, Cass County, Indiana. The congregation met in the Seminary, a public building in the area, before moving into a small room in 1837 and a new building in 1839. First United Methodist Church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church, closing on December 1, 2022.
