Historical Note
Mount Olive United Methodist Church was founded in 1870. The church acquired land in 1871. The church building had three major remodelings in 1893, 1947-1948, and 1967. The first minister was Rev. Hanna in 1871. Mount Olive affiliated with the United Methodist Church in 1877. It was located in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. The church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church in 2023.
